Born from a conversation between Louis Cartier and aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont in 1904, the Santos was the world's first purpose-built pilot's wristwatch. The WSSA0018 features a 39.8mm steel case with Cartier's signature exposed square screws on the bezel and lugs, giving the watch its unmistakable architectural character. The white dial is clean, confident, and instantly readable, framed by a railway-track minute ring and bold Roman numerals.
Powering the watch is Cartier's in-house automatic calibre 1847 MC, a reliable and well-finished movement built for everyday wear.
