The Cartier Clé de Cartier, reference WGCL0013, is one of the most distinctive and conceptually original watch designs Cartier has produced in recent decades, its name taken directly from the French word for "key" and referencing the watch's most ingenious feature: a crown that rotates within the case profile itself, eliminating any protrusion from the case and creating one of the most seamless and elegant silhouettes in contemporary fine watchmaking. This certified pre-owned example from 2013 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in 18k pink gold, the WGCL0013 presents the Clé de Cartier in a beautifully soft 35mm cushion-shaped case measuring just 10.09mm in height, where the integrated rotating crown sits flush against the case at 3 o'clock in a solution that is as functionally brilliant as it is visually refined. Warm, luminous, and thoroughly modern in its conception.
The silver guilloché dial is elegant and classically Cartier, with bold Roman numerals, sword-shaped hands, and a discreet date aperture delivering a composition that balances tradition and innovation with characteristic Maison confidence.
