The Cartier Tank Française, reference W51005Q4, is the bold and distinctly contemporary member of the Tank family, updating the Tank's legendary rectangular case with a fully integrated chain-link bracelet that gives the watch an entirely new architectural presence on the wrist. This certified pre-owned example from 2015 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, the W51005Q4 presents the Tank Française in its large model, with a beautifully proportioned rectangular case measuring 36.5 x 28.15mm and just 7.45mm in height. The seven-row integrated bracelet in matching steel and yellow gold flows seamlessly from the case in a construction that is as technically accomplished as it is visually coherent, with the warm glow of yellow gold providing a striking contrast against the cool brushed steel throughout. The octagonal yellow gold crown, set with a synthetic spinel cabochon, completes a case that is unmistakably, inimitably Cartier.
The silvered flinqué guilloché dial is refined and deeply textured, with bold black Roman numerals radiating outward from the centre, sword-shaped blued-steel hands, and a date aperture at 6 o'clock adding a discreet practical touch without disturbing the dial's elegant composition.
Powering the watch is the Cartier Calibre 120, a reliable in-house self-winding automatic movement with a 40-hour power reserve, water resistant to 30 metres. A movement built for daily wear and long-term dependability.
