The Glashütte Original Senator Excellence Panorama Date Moonphase, reference 1-36-04-01-02-30, is a masterpiece of Saxon watchmaking that combines three of the most satisfying complications in fine watchmaking with the understated elegance that has defined Glashütte Original since 1845. This certified pre-owned example from 2023 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in stainless steel, the 1-36-04-01-02-30 presents the Senator Excellence in a beautifully proportioned 40mm case measuring 12.2mm in height, with a sapphire crystal caseback that reveals the movement in all its Glashütte splendour. Elegant, considered, and finished with the kind of attention to detail that sets Saxon watchmaking apart from the rest of the world.
The silver dial is quietly exceptional, with the brand's signature panorama date displayed through a large double aperture at 6 o'clock, a classically rendered moonphase below it, and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock completing a layout that is both technically rich and visually serene. Mixed indexes and poire hands in the finest Glashütte tradition round off a dial that rewards every second you spend looking at it.
Powering the watch is the Glashütte Original Calibre 36-01, an in-house automatic movement built to the exacting standards of the Saxon manufacture, featuring Glashütte's characteristic three-quarter plate, gold chatons, and Glashütte ribbing throughout. One of the most beautifully finished movements at this price point, anywhere in the world.
The watch is delivered on its original alligator leather strap with Glashütte Original deployant clasp.
