The black dial is inspired by aviation instrument panels and is unlike anything else in the Rolex lineup, mixing large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with a yellow seconds hand and a green "Air-King" inscription that gives the whole thing an unmistakable, slightly rebellious character.
