The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 "Grape", reference 114300, is one of the most coveted and collectible references in the discontinued Oyster Perpetual 39 family, its deep purple sunburst dial earning the affectionate "Grape" nickname among collectors and immediately making it one of the most sought-after colour variants Rolex produced in the 2010s. This certified pre-owned example from 2019 is offered in excellent condition, freshly serviced by Rolex in 2025, and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 114300 presents the Oyster Perpetual in a 39mm round case with a smooth bezel and clean Oyster case profile that lets the extraordinary dial take complete centre stage. Discontinued in 2020 and replaced by the current 41mm generation, examples of the 114300 "Grape" in full set condition are becoming increasingly rare and increasingly desirable.
The purple sunburst dial is the defining feature of this reference, shifting from deep violet to a luminous burgundy plum depending on the light, with applied stick and dot hour markers and clean stick hands delivering excellent legibility at every glance. A colour that Rolex produced for only a few years, in a size that no longer exists in the current catalogue, making this a genuinely collectible combination that rewards those who were paying attention.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3132, a reliable in-house automatic movement featuring a Parachrom hairspring for outstanding precision and resistance to magnetic fields and shocks, freshly serviced by Rolex in 2025 for complete mechanical peace of mind.
