The Rolex Submariner Date "Kermit", reference 16610LV, is one of the most beloved and historically significant Submariner references ever produced, introduced in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the collection and instantly recognisable by its distinctive green anodised aluminium bezel insert. Crafted entirely in stainless steel, the 16610LV features a robust 40mm Oyster case water resistant to 300 metres, paired with the iconic green unidirectional rotating bezel that earned this reference its legendary nickname. The combination of a black dial with a green bezel was unprecedented for Rolex at the time of its launch, and the watch has been a collector favourite ever since, now discontinued and increasingly difficult to find in this level of originality.
The case and bracelet retain their full factory finishing, with the alternating polished and brushed surfaces completely intact, sharp edges uncorroded by any polishing wheel, and the overall patina of a watch that has been worn and cared for, never refinished.
