The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph, reference 26715ST.OO.1356ST.02, is the more refined and elegantly proportioned chronograph expression of the Royal Oak family, presenting Gérald Genta's legendary octagonal design in a 38mm case that introduces the new Royal Oak design evolution while staying entirely faithful to the spirit of the original. This certified pre-owned example from 2022 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in stainless steel, the 26715ST.OO.1356ST.02 presents the Royal Oak Chronograph in a beautifully resolved 38mm case measuring just 11mm in height, with the signature octagonal bezel secured by eight hexagonal screws and the alternating brushed and polished surfaces that define the Royal Oak's case finishing. The seamless integrated stainless steel bracelet completes a package that has set the benchmark for luxury sport watch design since 1972. At 38mm, it is a Royal Oak that wears with a more discreet and versatile presence without sacrificing any of the collection's essential character.
The grey "Grande Tapisserie" guilloché dial is the centrepiece of this reference, with the iconic hobnail pattern providing extraordinary depth and texture behind the silver-toned chronograph counters, applied stick and dot hour markers, and stick hands with luminescent coating. A tone-on-tone composition of exceptional refinement that rewards close attention from every angle.
Powering the watch is the Audemars Piguet Calibre AP 2385, a fully in-house automatic chronograph movement with column wheel construction and a 40-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 50 metres.
