The Breitling Aviator 8 Chronograph 43, reference A13316, is a bold and purposeful tribute to the golden age of aviation instrument watches, combining Breitling's deep expertise in professional timing with a design vocabulary directly inspired by the cockpit instrument panels of the 1930s and 1940s. This certified pre-owned example from 2018 is offered in good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in stainless steel, the A13316 presents the Aviator 8 Chronograph in a commanding 43mm round case measuring 14.17mm in height, with a bidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-locked crown with double gaskets, and a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-glare treatment on both sides. Built to withstand 100 metres of water pressure and the demands of daily professional use, this is a chronograph that means business from every angle.
The black dial is an exercise in purposeful design, with large luminescent Arabic numerals in the distinctive Aviator 8 style, a bold red-tipped chronograph seconds hand, 30-minute and 12-hour counters at 12 and 6 o'clock respectively, small seconds at 9 o'clock, and a combined day and date display at 3 o'clock. Legible, graphic, and deeply rooted in aviation timing heritage.
