The Cartier Santos 100, reference WSSA0006, is the most assertively masculine and technically distinctive expression of the Santos family, presenting the iconic square case in a full ADLC-coated stainless steel configuration that gives the watch an intense, matte-black presence entirely unlike any other Santos in the collection. This certified pre-owned example from 2017 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in stainless steel with a full ADLC coating, the WSSA0006 presents the Santos 100 in its large format, with a commanding 41.3mm square case measuring just 10.34mm in height, the signature exposed square screws on the bezel and lugs rendered in matching black, and a matte finish across every surface that gives the watch an extraordinary visual coherence and depth. Scratch-resistant, purposeful, and impossible to confuse with any other Santos in either the historic or current catalogue.
The matte black dial is deep and authoritative, with applied Roman numeral hour markers and Cartier's signature sword-shaped hands delivering excellent legibility against the dark background, framed by a railway-track minute ring and sealed beneath a sapphire crystal. A dial as committed to its aesthetic as the case that surrounds it.
Powering the watch is the Cartier Calibre 1847 MC, a reliable in-house automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, water resistant to 100 metres. A movement as dependable as the watch it inhabits.
The watch is delivered on its original black alligator leather strap with ADLC-coated steel ardillon buckle, completing a package of absolute chromatic coherence from dial to clasp.
