Neoclassical elegance, timeless proportions, and understated sophistication: the Girard-Perregaux Heritage 1957 (ref. 41957-11-131-BB6A) embodies the refined watchmaking style associated with one of Switzerland's oldest manufacturers. This edition, offered here in very good condition, is a full set, from 2020, and is available immediately in Geneva.
The 40 mm polished steel case features a slightly tonneau shape, inspired by the vintage style of the 1950s. Compact and elegant, this watch can be worn with a suit or casual attire. The opaline silver dial is punctuated with applied hour markers and slender dauphine hands, with a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock and a discreet date window at 3 o'clock.
Beneath its understated aesthetic beats a self-winding mechanical movement, the GP03300, entirely designed and decorated by Girard-Perregaux. It offers a 46-hour power reserve and can be admired through the transparent sapphire crystal case back.
The watch is fitted with a black alligator leather strap, equipped with a GP-signed folding clasp, ensuring comfort and security on the wrist.
