The Jaeger-LeCoultre Polaris Automatic reference Q9008170 (also known as 841.8.37.S) is a refined yet sporty timepiece inspired by the Maison’s historic diving instruments of the 1960s. Housed in a 41mm stainless steel case with a combination of brushed and polished finishes, the watch delivers a strong yet balanced wrist presence. The black lacquered dial features a sophisticated multi-layer construction, creating visual depth and exceptional clarity. Large Arabic numerals, applied hour markers, and bold baton hands are filled with Super-LumiNova to ensure optimal legibility in all lighting conditions. A discreet date window at 3 o’clock and an internal rotating bezel, controlled by a second crown, reinforce the model’s distinctive sporty character.
Powering the watch is the in-house automatic Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 898E/1, renowned for its precision and reliability. The movement provides approximately 40 hours of power reserve and reflects the Manufacture’s high standards of technical refinement. Water-resistant to 100 metres, the Polaris Automatic is perfectly suited to everyday wear.
This example is presented in unworn condition and is delivered as a full set, including the original Jaeger-LeCoultre box and warranty papers. The stainless steel bracelet is in pristine condition.
