The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duoface, reference Q2712470, is one of the most mechanically and conceptually sophisticated expressions of the legendary Reverso family, combining the iconic reversible case architecture with two entirely distinct dials serving two different time zones, all within a case of refined precious metal elegance. This certified pre-owned example from 2018 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in 18k rose gold, the Q2712470 presents the Reverso in its elegant rectangular case measuring 26 x 42mm, with the signature ribbed rose gold bezel and the sliding mechanism that allows the case to reverse with a single smooth gesture and reveal the second dial. A case design conceived in 1931 for polo players to protect their watch dial, now elevated into one of the most refined two-time-zone complications in fine watchmaking.
The front dial is serene and classically Art Deco in composition, with a silver guilloché surface, black Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, and a small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. The reverse dial is its perfect counterpart, a dark guilloché background with luminous hands and numerals, and a 24-hour day and night indicator at 6 o'clock allowing simultaneous display of a second time zone with immediate AM/PM distinction. Two dials, two worlds, one impeccable case.
Powering the watch is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 272, a hand-wound manufacture movement of outstanding quality, with the finishing and decoration expected from one of Switzerland's most accomplished manufactures. Water resistant to 30 metres.
The watch is delivered on its original black alligator leather strap with 18k rose gold deployant buckle.
