The M.A.D.Editions M.A.D.1 RED is a bold and unconventional timepiece created by Maximilian Büsser, founder of MB&F, designed to bring the creativity of haute horlogerie to a wider audience. This certified pre-owned example is offered in unworn condition and comes with its full original set, including box, warranty card, and documentation.
The watch features a distinctive 42mm stainless steel case with a striking red rotor visible through the top of the watch, one of the defining elements of the M.A.D.1 design. Instead of a traditional dial layout, the watch displays time through lateral rotating cylinders, allowing the hours and minutes to be read from the side of the case. This unusual and playful architecture reflects MB&F’s philosophy of mechanical art and creative watchmaking.
The upper sapphire crystal reveals the high-speed triple-blade rotor, finished in vivid red and mounted above the movement, creating a mesmerizing visual effect when the watch is in motion. This design element is both functional and artistic, emphasizing the dynamic character of the watch.
