The Omega Seamaster "Olympic Games Gold Collection", reference 522.53.40.20.04.003, is one of the most precious and historically meaningful watches Omega has ever produced, part of a collection introduced in 2018 to celebrate the brand's role as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games and inspired directly by the gold, silver, and bronze medals that define the greatest sporting competition on earth. This certified pre-owned example is offered in excellent condition and is presented as watch only.
Crafted in Sedna Gold, Omega's proprietary red gold alloy developed to maintain its warm, rich colour over time without fading, the 522.53.40.20.04.003 presents the Seamaster in a beautifully proportioned 39.5mm round case measuring 11.98mm in height, with a sapphire crystal caseback revealing the exceptional movement within. A precious metal timepiece of extraordinary warmth and occasion, worn with the weight of Olympic history on its wrist.
The white grand feu enamel dial is the centrepiece of this reference, produced through one of the most demanding and technically unforgiving decorative arts in fine watchmaking, with applied stick and dot hour markers and delicate feuille-shaped hands completing a composition of exceptional purity and luminosity. An enamel dial at this level of execution is the work of artisans for whom perfection is the minimum acceptable standard.
Powering the watch is the Omega Calibre 8807, a Co-Axial Master Chronometer movement certified by METAS, offering outstanding precision and exceptional resistance to magnetic fields exceeding 15,000 gauss, with a 55-hour power reserve. Visible through the open caseback, it is a movement as accomplished as the case that houses it.
The watch is delivered on its original alligator leather strap with Sedna Gold deployant buckle.
