The Omega Speedmaster “First Omega in Space” reference 310.32.40.50.06.001 is a faithful tribute to the historic timepiece worn by astronaut Walter Schirra during the Sigma 7 mission in 1962. This commemorative model captures the spirit of early space exploration while incorporating modern watchmaking excellence.
Housed in a 39.7 mm stainless steel case, this model features straight lugs and symmetrical lines that reflect the design of the original Speedmaster CK2998. The blue-grey dial offers a refined vintage-inspired aesthetic, enhanced by applied hour markers, classic Alpha hands, and recessed chronograph sub-dials. The tachymeter bezel completes the iconic Speedmaster look.
