The Panerai Luminor 1950 Chrono Flyback Automatic Ceramica, reference PAM01498, is one of the most technically accomplished and visually distinctive members of the Luminor 1950 family, combining a full black ceramic case construction with vivid green accents and Panerai's finest in-house flyback chronograph movement in a package of extraordinary presence and mechanical ambition. This certified pre-owned example from 2024 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in black ceramic with a DLC coating and a titanium caseback, the PAM01498 presents the Luminor 1950 in its commanding 44mm cushion-shaped case, with the signature crown-protecting bridge at 9 o'clock rendered in black ceramic and punctuated with distinctive green detailing on the crown protector, case side, and strap, giving the watch a bold and coherent colour identity that sets it apart from every other Luminor in the current catalogue. Built to 100 metres of water resistance and finished to an extraordinary standard throughout.
The black sunburst dial is deep and elegantly composed, with applied stick and dot luminescent hour markers, a small seconds subdial, a date display, and the flyback chronograph counters arranged with the functional clarity and visual restraint that characterises the finest Panerai dial design. A dial that is simultaneously understated and deeply captivating.
Powering the watch is the Panerai Manufacture Calibre P.9100, a fully in-house automatic flyback chronograph movement with column wheel construction, small seconds, date complication, and a 3-day power reserve. One of the most accomplished in-house movements Panerai has ever produced.
The watch is delivered on its original black rubber strap with green stitching, completing a package as coherent and purposeful as the watch it carries.
