The Patek Philippe Gondolo Calendario, reference 5135R-001, is one of the most elegant and technically accomplished annual calendar watches ever produced, combining the Gondolo collection's distinctive tonneau case design with a beautifully resolved complication suite that manages day, date, month, moonphase, and AM/PM indication with the kind of visual serenity only Patek Philippe can achieve. Crafted in 18k rose gold, the 5135R-001 presents the Gondolo Calendario in its commanding tonneau-shaped case measuring 38 x 51mm and just 11.5mm in height, with a domed smooth rose gold bezel and a screw-down sapphire crystal caseback that reveals the Calibre 324 S QA LU 24 in full. The warm, luminous rose gold gives the Gondolo's architectural tonneau silhouette an immediate sense of occasion and richness.
The silver dial is a masterclass in balanced complication layout, with applied rose gold stick hour markers, Arabic numerals at 3 and 9 o'clock, and a centre sweep seconds hand framing the annual calendar displays for day, date at 12 o'clock, and month, alongside a moonphase and AM/PM indicator. A complication that requires only a single correction per year, at the end of February, and a dial that handles that complexity with complete visual elegance.
Powering the watch is the Patek Philippe Calibre 324 S QA LU 24, a 34-jewel in-house automatic movement with the Patek Philippe Seal, offering exceptional finishing and a 45-hour power reserve.
