The Rolex Air-King, reference 126900, is the second generation of the revived Air-King, introduced in 2022 with a redesigned case and Rolex's most advanced Calibre 3230, bringing meaningful upgrades to an already distinctive and underrated reference in the modern Rolex catalogue. This certified pre-owned example from 2022 is offered in like new condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 126900 presents the Air-King in a redesigned 40mm Oyster case with refined lugs and case bands that give the second generation a more contemporary and resolved silhouette than its predecessor. Clean, purposeful, and built to Rolex's uncompromising standards, with 100 metres of water resistance and a smooth bezel keeping the focus entirely on the extraordinary dial.
The black dial is inspired by aviation instrument panels and remains unlike anything else in the Rolex lineup, mixing large Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock with a yellow seconds hand and a green "Air-King" inscription that gives the whole thing an unmistakable, slightly rebellious character. Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3230, a significant upgrade over the first-generation 3131, featuring a Chronergy escapement and Parachrom hairspring for exceptional precision, magnetic resistance, and a generous 70-hour power reserve. The finest movement Rolex has ever put in the Air-King.
