The Rolex GMT-Master II "Batman", reference 116710BLNR, is the reference that introduced the black and blue Cerachrom ceramic bezel to the GMT-Master II family in 2013 and immediately became one of the most talked-about and sought-after Rolex references of the decade. This certified pre-owned example from 2018 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 116710BLNR features a robust 40mm Oyster case paired with a bidirectional rotatable bezel fitted with a two-tone black and blue Cerachrom ceramic insert, the combination that earned this reference its iconic "Batman" nickname from the collector community and that has never once gone out of style since the day it launched.
The black gloss dial is sharp and purposeful, with luminescent Maxi hour markers, Mercedes hands, and the iconic additional 24-hour GMT hand for simultaneous tracking of a second time zone. A date display at 3 o'clock completes a dial that is as legible as it is handsome. Classic GMT-Master architecture at its very best.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3186, a highly accomplished in-house automatic movement featuring a Parachrom hairspring for outstanding resistance to magnetic fields and shocks, and a 50-hour power reserve. The movement that powered the Batman through its entire production run, and that remains an outstanding performer by any standard.
The watch is fitted with the Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp and Easylink comfort extension system, offering effortless fine adjustment of up to 5mm for the perfect fit at any time.
