The Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39 "Dark Rhodium", reference 114300, is one of the most quietly collectible references in the discontinued Oyster Perpetual 39 family, its deep grey sunburst dial earning the "Dark Rhodium" nickname among collectors and its 39mm case size occupying a sweet spot that no longer exists in the current Rolex catalogue. This certified pre-owned example from 2017 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 114300 presents the Oyster Perpetual in a 39mm round case with a smooth bezel and the clean Oyster case profile that has defined this collection for decades. Discontinued in 2020 and replaced by the current 41mm generation, examples of the 114300 in full set condition are becoming increasingly sought after by collectors who appreciate both the size and the colour.
The dark rhodium sunburst dial is the defining feature of this reference, shifting from a deep, cool grey to a lighter metallic tone depending on the angle of the light, with applied stick and dot hour markers and clean stick hands delivering flawless legibility at every glance.
