The Rolex Yacht-Master, reference 16622, is the original "Rolesium" Yacht-Master, the first watch in the Rolex catalogue to combine Oystersteel with 950 platinum in a material pairing so distinctive that Rolex would later trademark the name. Crafted in Oystersteel with a bidirectional rotating bezel in solid 950 platinum, the 16622 presents the Yacht-Master in a beautifully proportioned 40mm case where every alternating brushed and polished surface remains completely intact, sharp edges uncorroded by any polishing wheel, and the overall presentation of a watch that has been worn with care and never refinished.
