The Rolex Yacht-Master, reference 16622, is the watch that introduced the world to "Rolesium", Rolex's pairing of stainless steel with a solid platinum bezel and dial, bringing quiet luxury to the most refined member of the Professional family. This certified pre-owned example from 2000 is offered in very good condition and comes with its original warranty papers and tags.
Crafted in stainless steel, the 16622 features a 40mm Oyster case topped with a bidirectional rotatable bezel in platinum, its raised polished numerals set against a sandblasted background. Protected by a sapphire crystal and water resistant to 100 metres, it is as happy on the deck as it is at the harbour bar.
The silver dial is clean and luminous, with applied hour markers, Mercedes hands, and a date window at 3 o'clock magnified by the Cyclops lens. Sporty without shouting, elegant without trying, it catches the light just enough to remind you it is no ordinary steel watch.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3135, the legendary in-house automatic movement with quickset date, a Parachrom-free era classic famed for its robustness and precision, offering a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
