The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Automatic Chronograph Calibre 16, reference CAZ2012.BA0970, is a dynamic sports chronograph that channels TAG Heuer’s deep-rooted motorsport heritage into a robust, contemporary design. Built for performance and everyday reliability, this certified pre-owned luxury watch is presented in new, never worn condition and is offered as a full set with original box and papers.
The watch is housed in a 44 mm stainless steel case, delivering a strong and athletic presence on the wrist while remaining ergonomically balanced. The blue sunray dial provides excellent legibility and visual depth, complemented by applied hour markers and bold hands filled with luminous material. The chronograph layout is clear and functional, with well-defined sub-dials and a date display at 3 o’clock for everyday practicality. A fixed tachymeter bezel reinforces the Formula 1 collection’s racing DNA.
Powering the watch is the TAG Heuer Calibre 16, an automatic chronograph movement based on the proven Valjoux 7750 architecture. Known for its robustness and ease of maintenance, this calibre delivers reliable performance with an approximate 42-hour power reserve, making it well suited to daily wear and active use.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet, offering durability, comfort, and a secure folding clasp. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring long-term clarity and scratch resistance. With a water resistance of 200 metres, the Formula 1 Chronograph is designed to perform confidently in demanding conditions.
