The Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight, reference 79030B, takes its name from 1958, the year Tudor launched its first dive watch for the deep, the legendary "Big Crown" reference 7924. In blue, the BB58 trades vintage gilt for a fresh, maritime personality that has made it one of the most sought-after modern Tudors. This certified pre-owned example from 2021 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including inner and outer boxes, warranty card, booklets, and the Tudor tag.
Crafted in stainless steel, the 79030B sits in a 39mm case with slim, vintage-inspired proportions that wear beautifully on almost any wrist. A unidirectional rotating bezel with a blue insert completes the look, and the case is water resistant to 200 metres, so it is just as happy at sea as it is at the office.
The blue dial is crisp and sporty, with luminescent hour markers and Tudor's signature "snowflake" hands, a design detail that has been recognisable on Tudor divers since the 1960s. Clean, confident, and impossible to confuse with anything else.
Powering the watch is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5402, an in-house automatic movement certified as a chronometer by COSC, with a silicon balance spring and a generous 70-hour power reserve. Take it off on Friday, and it will still be running on Monday.
