With the Black Bay 54, Tudor offers a return to the roots of dive watchmaking. Directly inspired by the brand's first diver's watch launched in 1954, the reference M79000N-0001 is a faithful tribute to the brand's heritage. This 2024 model, delivered as a full set and in excellent condition, is currently available in Geneva.
The 37 mm steel case gives the watch a discreet, vintage presence, perfectly balanced for slender wrists or those who appreciate classic proportions. It features a unidirectional rotating bezel in black aluminum with a matte finish, matching the deep black dial, punctuated by luminescent round and triangular hour markers.
The minimalist design is enhanced by the absence of a date window and an uncluttered dial with impeccable legibility. This refined style pays homage to the Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner 7922, while incorporating contemporary manufacturing standards.
Inside, the Black Bay 54 houses the in-house caliber MT5400, a COSC-certified automatic movement offering a 70-hour power reserve and exceptional chronometric stability. Robust, reliable, and modern, it is designed to withstand the rigors of daily life and aquatic adventures.
The watch is fitted with a satin-finished steel bracelet with solid links, a Tudor folding clasp, and a T-Fit quick-adjustment system, ensuring perfect comfort.
