The Zenith Chronomaster El Primero Open, reference 03.2040.4061/21.M2040, is a distinctive chronograph that highlights Zenith’s iconic high-frequency movement through its signature open-heart dial design. Combining technical sophistication with contemporary aesthetics, this model is a standout within the Chronomaster collection. The watch features a 42 mm stainless steel case with a combination of polished and brushed finishes, delivering a refined yet sporty appearance. The stainless steel bracelet integrates seamlessly with the case, ensuring both durability and comfort for daily wear.
The black dial offers a bold and modern look, enhanced by the partially openworked aperture at around 10 o’clock, revealing the beating heart of the El Primero movement. This signature feature showcases the escapement in motion, operating at a high frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. The dial also features chronograph subdials for measuring elapsed time, maintaining a balanced and highly legible layout. Applied hour markers and luminous hands ensure optimal readability in all conditions.
Powering the watch is the Zenith El Primero Calibre 4061 automatic chronograph movement, an in-house high-frequency calibre renowned for its precision and reliability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 50 hours and reflects Zenith’s long-standing expertise in integrated chronograph manufacturing.
