The Zenith Chronomaster Original 1969 reference 03.3200.3600/22.M3200 is a faithful modern revival of one of the most important chronographs in watchmaking history. Offered in new condition with original box and papers (full set), this timepiece embodies Zenith’s heritage while delivering contemporary performance and refinement.

Housed in a perfectly proportioned 38 mm stainless steel case, the Chronomaster Original stays true to the original 1969 A386 design. The compact dimensions, domed sapphire crystal, and pump-style chronograph pushers create a timeless silhouette with exceptional wrist comfort. The case finishing alternates polished and brushed surfaces, enhancing the watch’s vintage-inspired elegance.

The black dial features the iconic tri-colour chronograph counters, a signature Zenith design code that offers strong visual contrast and immediate recognition. Applied hour markers and faceted hands ensure excellent legibility, while the date window at 4:30 is subtly integrated to preserve the dial’s historical character and balance.

At the heart of the watch beats the legendary Zenith El Primero Calibre 3600, an automatic high-frequency chronograph movement operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour (5 Hz). This advanced evolution of the original El Primero allows precise measurement to 1/10th of a second, indicated by the central chronograph seconds hand completing one full rotation every 10 seconds. The movement delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours and can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.

The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet, perfectly matching the case and reinforcing the model’s versatile, all-occasion appeal. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal protects the dial, ensuring durability and long-term clarity.

The Zenith Chronomaster Original 1969 Chronograph 03.3200.3600/22.M3200 stands as a benchmark in the world of mechanical chronographs. Its historically accurate design, state-of-the-art El Primero movement, and pristine full-set condition make it a standout addition to any collection of pre-owned luxury watches, ideal for collectors seeking authenticity, precision, and enduring style.
