The Zenith Elite Ultra Thin, reference 03.2010.681/21.C493, is one of the finest and most understated dress watches produced in Le Locle, a timepiece that distils Zenith's extraordinary mechanical heritage into a profile so slim and so elegantly resolved that it demands almost nothing from the wrist while giving back everything in return. This certified pre-owned example from 2021 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in polished stainless steel, the 03.2010.681/21.C493 presents the Elite Ultra Thin in a beautifully proportioned 40mm round case measuring just 8.3mm in height, with a domed double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a transparent caseback revealing the Calibre 681 movement and its Côtes de Genève decorated tungsten rotor. A case that wears with extraordinary elegance and effortlessly vanishes under a shirt cuff.
The black sunburst dial is deep, rich, and impeccably finished, with polished faceted applied stick hour markers and a painted minute track providing excellent legibility against the dark background, while slender Dauphine hands and a small seconds subdial at 9 o'clock complete a layout of beautiful classical balance. Simple, confident, and entirely correct in every proportion.
Powering the watch is the Zenith Calibre Elite 681, an in-house automatic movement measuring just 3.81mm in thickness, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 27 jewels and a solid 50-hour power reserve. One of the finest ultra-thin movements in Swiss watchmaking, from a manufacture that has been producing movements without interruption since 1865.
The watch is delivered on its original alligator leather strap with pin buckle, water resistant to 50 metres.
