Launched in 2003 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner, the Rolex Submariner 16610LV, nicknamed “Kermit,” quickly became a cult classic of modern watchmaking. The first Submariner to feature a green anodized aluminum bezel, it combines this bold hue with a glossy black dial, creating an aesthetic that is sporty, elegant, and instantly recognizable.
The 40 mm Oyster case in 904L steel, water-resistant to 300 meters, features a sapphire crystal with a Cyclops lens, a screw-down Triplock crown, and a solid-link Oyster bracelet with a Fliplock clasp, ensuring both security and comfort. The lacquered black dial is punctuated by white gold-rimmed hour markers filled with Super-LumiNova, guaranteeing optimal legibility in all conditions.
Powered by the Rolex 3135 automatic caliber, this watch offers a 48-hour power reserve and exemplary mechanical reliability. It underwent a full service at Rolex in 2020, guaranteeing its perfect working order and extending the movement's lifespan in accordance with the brand's standards.
