The Cartier Santos de Cartier Large, reference WSSA0018, is already one of the most iconic and historically significant watch designs ever conceived, born in 1904 from Louis Cartier's friendship with aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. Crafted in stainless steel, the WSSA0018 presents the Santos in its large 39.8mm format, to which an extraordinary aftermarket diamond pavé conversion has been applied with exceptional precision and craftsmanship. The bezel, case sides, lugs, and the entire integrated bracelet are set with round brilliant-cut diamonds in a seamless, continuous pavé that catches the light from every conceivable angle. The iconic exposed square screws, now set with individual diamonds, remain perfectly visible as proud reminders of the Santos's architectural identity beneath the spectacle. The crown retains its original blue synthetic spinel cabochon, the one touch of colour that ties the whole composition together.

The original silvered dial is completely untouched, with bold Roman numerals, Cartier's signature sword-shaped black hands, a railway-track minute ring, and a discreet date aperture at 6 o'clock.
