The Rolex GMT-Master II, reference 116710LN, is the all-black stealth GMT that introduced Rolex's Cerachrom ceramic bezel technology to the sport watch line when it launched in 2007, and that has maintained a devoted following among collectors who appreciate its clean, monochromatic character above all others. Crafted entirely in Oystersteel, the 116710LN features a robust 40mm Oyster case measuring 12mm in height, paired with a unidirectional rotatable bezel fitted with an all-black Cerachrom ceramic insert. Scratch-resistant, fade-proof, and entirely devoid of colour contrast, this is a GMT that announces itself through presence alone rather than palette.
The black gloss dial is sharp and purposeful, with luminescent Maxi hour markers, Mercedes hands, and the iconic additional 24-hour GMT hand for simultaneous tracking of a second time zone.
