The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea, reference 126660, is the most extreme and technically formidable watch in the Rolex catalogue, a timepiece engineered to withstand pressures at depths that no human being will ever reach, and built with a level of mechanical ambition that puts it in a category entirely its own. This certified pre-owned example from 2020 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in a combination of Oystersteel and titanium, the 126660 presents the Deepsea in a commanding 44mm case measuring a substantial 17.7mm in height, housing Rolex's patented Ringlock System that allows the watch to withstand water pressure equivalent to 3,900 metres of depth. The unidirectional rotatable bezel with its black Cerachrom ceramic insert and the triple-waterproofness crown system complete a case that is less a watch and more a feat of engineering. A tool watch in the most absolute and uncompromising sense of the term.
The gloss black dial is deep, bold, and immaculately legible, with large Chromalight-filled Mercedes hands and hour markers delivering outstanding visibility in the darkest underwater conditions, alongside a date display at 3 o'clock magnified by Rolex's iconic Cyclops lens.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 3235, one of the most advanced in-house movements in the industry, featuring a Chronergy escapement, Parachrom hairspring, and a 70-hour power reserve. The second-generation Deepsea movement, and a significant upgrade over its predecessor.
The watch is fitted with the Oyster bracelet with Oysterlock safety clasp and Glidelock extension system, allowing easy adjustment for wear over a diving suit or simply for everyday comfort.
