The Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, reference 5000A-0140-O52A, is a contemporary and highly technical interpretation of Blancpain’s legendary dive watch, combining advanced materials with manufacture-level mechanical excellence. Designed as a versatile professional diver with a modern aesthetic, this certified pre-owned luxury watch is offered in new, never worn condition and is presented as a full set with original box and papers.
The watch is housed in a 43 mm blue ceramic case, a material chosen for its exceptional scratch resistance, lightness, and colour stability. The unidirectional blue ceramic bezel, filled with Liquidmetal® markers, ensures precise dive-time measurement and long-term durability. The blue dial is clean, minimalist, and highly legible, featuring applied hour markers and hands filled with luminous material for optimal visibility in low-light and underwater environments. A discreet date display at 4:30 integrates seamlessly into the dial design.
Powering the watch is the renowned Blancpain in-house automatic Calibre 1315, one of the most respected movements in modern dive watchmaking. Equipped with three mainspring barrels, this calibre delivers an exceptional approximately 120-hour (5-day) power reserve, ensuring stable chronometric performance over extended periods. The movement is finished to haute horlogerie standards and can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
This reference is fitted with a blue sail-canvas fabric strap, offering durability, comfort, and a strong maritime character that perfectly complements the Bathyscaphe’s design. With a water resistance of 300 metres, the watch fully meets the requirements of a professional dive instrument.
