The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, reference 116523, is one of the most glamorous and immediately desirable configurations in the entire Daytona family, combining the legendary chronograph's sporting credentials with the warmth of yellow Rolesor and a white mother-of-pearl dial set with original Rolex factory diamond hour markers. This certified pre-owned example from 2015 is offered in like new condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in yellow Rolesor, Rolex's signature combination of Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold, the 116523 features a robust 40mm Oyster case with screw-down chronograph pushers, Triplock crown, and an 18k yellow gold tachymeter bezel engraved with precision. A two-tone sports watch of extraordinary presence, equally at home at a racing paddock and at a black-tie dinner.
The white mother-of-pearl dial is the centrepiece of this reference, luminous and iridescent, shifting from a cool pearlescent white to a warmer, more radiant tone depending on the light, set with original Rolex factory diamond hour markers that add an unmistakable brilliance against the lustrous background. Three matching chronograph subdials for small seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours complete a dial composition of exceptional elegance and femininity without ever losing the Daytona's essential sporting character.
Powering the watch is the Rolex Calibre 4130, an entirely in-house automatic chronograph movement with column wheel construction and a vertical clutch, offering smooth and precise chronograph engagement and a 72-hour power reserve.
