The Tudor Black Bay 54, reference M79000B-0001, is perhaps the most faithful tribute to a specific vintage Tudor dive watch ever produced, a 37mm neo-vintage masterpiece that channels the spirit of the iconic 1954 Submariner reference with a purity and attention to historical detail that immediately sets it apart from every other watch in the Black Bay family. This certified pre-owned example from 2026 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in polished and satin-finished stainless steel, the M79000B-0001 presents the Black Bay 54 in a beautifully compact 37mm case measuring just 11.2mm in height, one of the slimmest and most elegant sport watch profiles Tudor has ever produced. The unidirectional rotating bezel with its matching blue anodised aluminium insert, deliberately free of minute graduations in tribute to the 1954 original, and the domed sapphire crystal complete a case that feels as historically considered as it does thoroughly contemporary.
The deep blue sunburst dial is the centrepiece of this reference, rich with the specific shade of "Tudor Blue" that defined the brand's dive watches of the era, applied luminescent indices, and the iconic Snowflake hands introduced in 1969 that remain one of Tudor's most beloved design signatures. Bold, characterful, and neo-vintage in the most intelligent and authentic sense of the term.
Powering the watch is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5400, an in-house self-winding movement COSC certified for chronometric precision, featuring a silicon balance spring and a generous 70-hour power reserve. Water resistant to 200 metres and built for a lifetime of daily wear.
The watch is fitted with a three-link stainless steel bracelet with Tudor's "T-fit" rapid adjustment clasp, completing a package that is as coherent as it is beautifully resolved.
