The Cartier Tank MC Chronograph, reference W5330008, is one of the most technically ambitious and visually arresting members of the Tank family, combining the collection's legendary rectangular case architecture with a fully in-house automatic chronograph movement in a proposition that is as rare as it is impressive. This certified pre-owned example from 2021 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its original box and warranty card.
Crafted in brushed stainless steel, the W5330008 presents the Tank MC in its large chronograph format, with a beautifully elongated rectangular case measuring 34.3 x 44mm and just 11.7mm in height. The signature octagonal crown set with a faceted blue synthetic spinel, the exhibition sapphire caseback, and the clean steel bezel complete a case that is as architecturally distinctive as it is mechanically serious.
The grey flinqué guilloché dial is one of Cartier's most refined, with a sunburst guilloche pattern providing extraordinary depth and texture beneath the white painted Roman numerals, sword-shaped steel hands, and two chronograph subdials positioned at 3 and 9 o'clock for 30 minutes and 12 hours respectively. A date window at 6 o'clock and the secret Cartier signature hidden at VII complete a dial of exceptional sophistication. A chronograph dial that manages complexity with complete visual calm.
Powering the watch is the Cartier Calibre 1904-CH MC, a fully in-house automatic chronograph movement with column wheel construction, 35 jewels, and a 48-hour power reserve. A genuinely accomplished manufacture movement from one of the world's great watchmaking Maisons.
The watch is delivered on its original grey alligator leather strap with stainless steel deployant buckle.
