Crafted in 18k rose gold, the Q1612420 presents the Master collection in a beautifully proportioned 40mm round case measuring approximately 12.8mm in height, with clean, classical lines that deliberately avoid any unnecessary flourish. A case built for those who understand that true watchmaking luxury lies in sobriety, not spectacle.
The ivory dial is a masterclass in balanced complexity, with the perpetual calendar's various functions evenly distributed across the surface: the date at 3 o'clock, the month at 6 o'clock, the day at 9 o'clock, and the four-digit year displayed in an aperture near 8 o'clock, alongside a moonphase display and a day/night indicator. Rose gold hour markers and hands tie the entire composition together with quiet elegance, proving that even significant complexity can be displayed with complete visual calm.
Powering the watch is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 876-440B, a hand-wound movement beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour with 37 jewels and twin mainspring barrels delivering an extraordinary eight-day power reserve, mechanically programmed to require no calendar correction until the year 2100. The beautifully finished movement, with its Côtes de Genève and circular graining, is fully visible through the sapphire crystal caseback.
The watch is delivered on its original brown alligator leather strap with rose gold folding clasp.
