The Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox, reference Q1412530, is a direct descendant of one of the most historically significant watch complications ever created, the world's first automatic alarm wristwatch, introduced by Jaeger-LeCoultre in 1956 and reinterpreted here with all the elegance and craftsmanship the Le Sentier manufacture is celebrated for. This certified pre-owned example from 2019 is offered in excellent condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in 18k pink gold, the Q1412530 presents the Master Memovox in a beautifully warm and refined 40mm round case measuring 14.1mm in height, with the collection's characteristic clean profile and a case that wears with the quiet confidence of a watch that knows exactly what it is and where it comes from. The pink gold gives the Memovox an immediate sense of warmth and occasion that perfectly complements its extraordinary complication.
The silver dial is serene and classically composed, with mixed Arabic and baton hour markers, elegant Dauphine hands, a date display at 3 o'clock, and the Memovox's distinctive inner alarm ring allowing the wearer to set the alarm directly from the dial. A complication that is simultaneously practical, mechanical, and deeply satisfying to use every single day.
Powering the watch is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Calibre 956, an in-house automatic movement with alarm function and exceptional acoustic performance, the result of decades of acoustic engineering at one of Switzerland's most accomplished manufactures. Setting the alarm and listening for it the following morning is a ritual that no smartphone notification can replicate.
