Crafted in yellow Rolesor, Rolex's signature combination of Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold, the 16233 presents the Datejust in a classic 36mm Oyster case with a fluted yellow gold bezel that catches the light with every movement of the wrist. A material pairing that Rolex mastered across decades and that remains as immediately recognisable today as it was when this example left Geneva over thirty-five years ago.
The silver sunray dial is beautifully warm and immediately legible, with applied stick hour markers and baton hands framing a date display at 3 o'clock magnified by Rolex's signature Cyclops lens.
