With the Black Bay 54 ref. M79000N-0002, Tudor pays homage to its very first dive watch, the legendary Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner of 1954. This reimagined model, in a more compact format, maintains the vintage spirit while incorporating the modern technical expertise inherent in the brand's in-house movements.
Featuring a 37 mm steel case, this Tudor Black Bay 54 offers a balanced, minimalist, and decidedly retro aesthetic. Its matte black dial, with gold "Snowflake" hour markers and hands enhanced with beige luminescent material, evokes the historical codes of classic dive watches. The unidirectional black aluminum bezel perfectly complements the overall design, for a refined and elegant look.
The heart of the watch is powered by the in-house caliber MT5400, a chronometer-certified (COSC) automatic movement offering a 70-hour power reserve and exceptional robustness. This model is presented here on a black rubber strap with a steel folding clasp for optimal comfort and a modern look.
