The Tudor Black Bay Chrono, reference 79360N, is the manufacture chronograph that cemented Tudor's place among the most serious and compelling watchmakers in the sport watch category, delivering an in-house movement, COSC certification, and a beautifully resolved 41mm design at a price point that makes its Swiss competitors deeply uncomfortable. This certified pre-owned example from 2023 is offered in very good condition and comes with its full original set, including box, papers, and all original accessories.
Crafted in polished and satin-finished stainless steel, the 79360N presents the Black Bay Chrono in a commanding 41mm round case with the collection's fixed bezel featuring a black anodised aluminium tachymeter insert, and screw-down pushers at 2 and 4 o'clock that give the watch its distinctly tool-inspired, motorsport-influenced character. Water resistant to 200 metres and built to last without compromise.
The silver "Panda" dial is as iconic as chronograph dial configurations get, with three contrasting black subdials for hours, minutes, and small seconds delivering the high-contrast layout that has defined the finest racing chronographs since the 1960s, accompanied by a date display and Tudor's signature Snowflake hands. Clean, purposeful, and immediately recognisable to anyone who knows their chronograph history.
Powering the watch is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5813, an in-house automatic chronograph movement COSC certified for chronometric precision, featuring a silicon balance spring, column wheel construction, vertical clutch, and a generous 70-hour power reserve. A movement that leaves nothing to be desired and everything to be admired.
The watch is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet with Tudor folding clasp, completing a coherent and compelling package from case to clasp.
